While he didn't plan to end up becoming one of the Arcanist Guild's star pupils sometimes fate is a curious thing.

Now he travels all over the star offering a kind smile and a helping hand wherever it is needed all while in the pursuit of knowledge.

Personality: Friendly, easy-going, flirtatious, and kind-hearted. Nai is always happy to meet new people and hear their stories. Ever in the pursuit of knowledge Nai loves asking questions and enjoys a good debate. Sarcasm is a second language for him and he can wield it with wicked precision. He's known for keeping a level head even in the roughest situations so many find him very dependable. He's extremely hard to anger but is incredibly vicious when someone manages to do so. He's also extremely protective of his friends and family, always doing everything in his power to insure their safety. Nai's not a big fan of conflict, preferring a more diplomatic approach, however he's not afraid to resort to violence if it is needed.

Waking up to blinding sunlight, blistering heat, and the unmistakable sounds of a bustling trade town was not Nai's ideal first memory. Left alone with no family and no memory of his past before finding himself in the back alleys of Uldah Nai was forced to take to the streets at a very young age. Facing the harsh realities of the world around him it didn't take long for Nai to turn to the life of a rogue, doing everything in his power to survive just one more day. As time wore on Nai grew more and more lethal, not just with his knives but with his tongue too, leading to him becoming quite well known in the city despite his young age. However it wasn't long before that renown caught up with him landing him slumped against a building, mere inches from death. It was at this time he was discovered by a wandering Viera named Mildir Ymir who quickly took him in and nursed him back to health, raising Nai alongside his own child for a blissful few years.Sadly that peace was eventually lost to Nai when Mildir had to leave Uldah with his child for reasons he never fully explained, leaving Nai in the hands of a family of paladins known as the Westknights. Things were fine for a while after that, Nai spent most days studying or spending time with the Wesknights' daughter Prym, the two of them becoming rather close during their teenage years. However as the years passed the environment around the two friends grew increasingly volatile which eventually lead to the two of them making a break for it and leaving Uldah behind.Eventually Nai and Prym found their way to Limsa Lominsa where they bought a cheap apartment with what little gil they had and began to start a new, doing odd jobs to pay for food and anything else they would need. Life continued that way for a while, the two friends doing their best to keep from losing their minds as they fought to take care of themselves. As the years passed feelings grew between Nai and Prym and eventually the two of them started dating and later got married. During this time Nai also caught the attention of the local Arcanist Guild who quickly recruited him and began training him in the ways of a summoner in order to harness his natural magic abilities.After that it didn't take him long to rise through the ranks of the guild and next thing he knew he was being dispatched to help a group of scholars who were studying the Allagan Empire's most well known ruins, the Crystal Tower. It was during this assignment that Nai learned of his Allagan ancestry and the innate magical talent and mysteries that come with it. This lead to the guild assigning him to Y'mhitra Rhul in order for him to further explore and improve his abilities, leading him to becoming one of the Arcanist Guild's strongest members. It was during this time he met, befriended, and eventually adopted Hitomi Nakamura as his sister. After finishing his training he began adventuring with Prym and Hitomi to earn some extra gil and further improve his skills, picking up Sage along the way to better help his friends. Eventually he found Mildir's child, who now went by Scarlett, living in Ishgard and learned of his adoptive Father's demise. After that he remained in the city for some time before returning to adventuring with his family and together they traveled the world.As they traveled Nai experienced numerous different cultures and over time developed a love for them as well as the many arts the came with them, especially that of cooking and mixology. Thanks to this new passion Nai found himself visiting many different establishments during his travels, from cozy cafes to bustling night clubs, with a desire to share what he learned and expand his own repertoire. Eventually that desire lead to him taking on jobs at different venues over the years until, with Prym's help, he found his way to Eden Hall and not long after Rabbit Reverie. Now a days when he's not traveling he can be found humming happily behind the bar or in the kitchen, eager to share stories with his patrons over a nice drink or a tasty meal.

The glory of the Crystal Tower was a sight to behold for Nai and he happily began studying it with the others in his party. However what he didn't expect was for the tower to respond to him in ways it otherwise didn't respond to others. It wasn't until he learned that the tower only worked for those with Allagan royal blood that he realized what he was. However as their research progressed it became increasingly hard to hide this knowledge until he was eventually discovered and the team assigned him to work along side his fellow descendant G'Raha Tia. The two became fast friends and promised to keep in touch once the expedition was over. However those plans were short lived thanks to the Crystal Tower going berserk and G'Raha having to lock himself inside in hopes of preserving what he could. Nai finished his assignment with a heavy heart and returned home.Nai of course kept in touch with the Research camp, often checking in on them and the tower when he had time. Until one day during one of his monthly trips the tower began acting strange so he began to investigate, eventually finding his way to a completely different star via means he still doesn't understand to this day. It was during his time in this new world that Nai learned of his ties to it and how he had ended up in Uldah all those years ago. However despite discovering these things he still was determined to get back home and with the help of a familiar face he managed to do just that. Once home though he felt it best to keep what he had learned to himself, only telling Prym of his adventure, and continued his life from before as if nothing had happened.

I'm a 18+ roleplayer and would prefer the same for my roleplay partners. I'm down for most stories however if you want a darker roleplay please speak with me OOC first and know that I reserve the right to say no if I so choose. I also don't mind a good ERP as long as it happens organically in the roleplay but keep in mind Nai does have a wife who will always come first in his eyes. That being said I refuse to roleplay anything NSFW when it comes to Lalafells, I know in the world of Eorzea they're adults but it's a personal preference that I will not be changing. I prefer to keep things lore friendly however I don't mind a little lore bending as well, though I would like to avoid full lore breaking. Communication is important as well, I'm of the belief that IRL always comes first but a heads up is much appreciated. And last but not least I am not my character, please keep IC and OOC separate or I will end the roleplay and block you.
